Operation Impact brings stolen-car arrests
The Buffalo News
November 01, 2009
State troopers assigned to Operation Impact in the City of Buffalo made arrests in two stolen-car cases— at almost the same time.
Wednesday night, while state police had a stolen vehicle pulled over on Plymouth Avenue, their license-plate reader vehicle got a hit on another possible stolen vehicle that drove by the site.
Other troopers pulled over the second vehicle at Massachusetts and West avenues.
State police arrested three people on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property. They were identified as Fernando Vega, 21, of Buffalo, along with 17-and 15-year-old males.
